- complex disordered metallic systems prepared by rapid quenching
- nanocrystalline metallic systems by controlled crystallization of amorphous alloys
- high-performance soft magnetic systems in nanocrystalline state
- lightweight high-strength aluminium alloys
- compactization of nanoaluminum alloys by rapid quenching and severe plastic deformation
- high-resolution characterization and quantification of local atomic ordering in complex amorphous and nanocrystalline metallic alloy systems
- cluster structure of amorphous systems
- investigation of dynamic effects during nanocrystal formation through analysis of nucleation processes, electrical noise manifestations and stochastic process methods
- MD and MC simulations of amorphous, nano and quasicrystalline systems and their atomic structure and electronic properties
- development and optimisation of properties of soft-magnetic nanocrystalline materials by controlled nanograin size distribution
- magnetoelastic sensors for biomedical applications
